George Michael...well enough to reschedule concert dates! "Symphonica" gigs added to tour!
According to George Michael's handlers, the talented solo artist is in good health once again and preparing to return to the big stage this autumn with a roster of rescheduled and newly added "Symphonica" concert tour dates.
At press time, I was informed that George will kick off the "Symphonica" tour on September 4 in Vienna (which is a newly added performance in the city where he was hospitalized with pneumonia at the end of last year).
Allegedly, the generous pop star has donated 1,000 tickets for the September 4th gig as a special thank you to the medical staff who nursed him back to health.
"I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you first to the doctors and nurses who saved my life and took such great care of me and to all my fans, family and friends for their love and support. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone," he underscored with heartfelt thanks.
The spanking-new Symphonica tour dates will include performances in Austria, The Netherlands and France.
Fans will be ecstatic to hear that George will make musical history in France when he becomes the first pop artist ever to perform a special gala charity concert at the Palais Garnier Opera House in Paris on September 9th (2012).
The sexy pop crooner will also return to the UK to play dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Sheffield, Newcastle, Cardiff, Liverpool and London.
He will complete his UK dates with three concerts at Earls Court in London.
The postponed Royal Albert Hall date - that was originally rescheduled for May 2, 2012 before Michael became ill - will now take place on September 29th, 2012.
Concerned ticket-holders will be thrilled to hear that all original tickets that were sold before rescheduling will be valid for the upcoming replacement dates.
Concert-goers who are interested in a refund should contact the ticket office immediately and arrange for reimbursement (all refund requests must be received by Monday, April 30th, 2012).
Congrats on the upcoming tour, Georgie boy!
