Hardly Strictly Bluegrass...Muni trains packed with concert-goers in high spirits! Music Universal language!

As the "Hardly Strictly Bluegrass" festival wound down at sunset last night, Muni trains were swamped with  ecstatic concert-goers taking the long trek back home.

Though it was a tight squeeze for all - and some passengers were forced to endure sudden and unexpected intimate contact with total strangers as the train barrelled this way 'n that down the track - spirits remained high.

In fact, there was a definite buzz in the crowd - that escalated to a full roar - as fans excitedly raved about live stage performances by Robert Plant & the Band of Joy, Chris Isaak, and Merle Haggart.

The revellers reminded me of the old "head" days.

And, the fashion was quite a sight to behold, too.

Retro sixties?

Expect much of the same as the "Hardly Strictly Bluegrass" Festival resumes today (and continues tomorrow) at Golden Gate park!

See 'ya there!
