Citizen Kane...AFI & Warner Brothers celebrate Orson Welles' genius with downloads! Enter a contest to win free access codes!






Citizen Kane was  ranked #1 on - "AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies list" - as the greatest movie of all time (cinematic or otherwise).

The AFI is celebrating the classic's 70th anniversary this year with the unprecedented release of clips from the AFI Archive about the movie and its master filmmaker - Orson Welles (we share the same "B"-day) - to be broadcast throughout September on AFI.com.

Warner Bros. also seized the golden opportunity to bask in the glow of the Wellles' celebratons with a promise to offer up - not only a release - but also content that has never been released for download on iTunes.

To commemorate the anniversary, AFI is giving away 15 iTunes download codes good towards the FREE download of the CITIZEN KANE flick with the bonus content for those who enter the contest by taking the following steps:

1.
Go to Facebook - facebook.com/AmericanFilmInstitute - and complete the entry form

2.
Go to Twitter at - twitter.com/#!/AmericanFilm - and send a tweet to @AmericanFilm and complete the entry form

3.
In the alternataive, send an e-mail with your reply to - membership@AFI.com - with the Subject Header "AFI CITIZEN KANE iTunes Download Giveaway".

15 names will be randomly selected  on September 23rd and the lucky recipients will be notified no later than September 30.
